FAST Project Board and Implementers Group Meet in Budapest, Hungary 26-27 February 2009.

The FAST project partners met in Budapest Hungary, as guests of the Hungarian Prime Ministers Office.  The project team reviewed progress to date and set about planning for the remainder of the project.

FAST Project Board - BudapestFollowing the Project Board meeting a plenary session of the FAST Implementers Group was held.  The aim of of this session was to introduce new potential implementers to the benefits of the FAST application.  In addition to the established members of the group representatives of a number of Hungarian ministries, including the Hungarian Prime Ministers Office and the Ministry of Health, attended together with a representative of EasyConnects from the UK.  Following the presentations a number of exciting opportunities to deploy the FAST technologies where identified in both Hungary and the UK.

The ability of FAST to move processes on-line even where a legally binding signature is required  was particularly well received.

The necessary actions to turn these opportunities into firm deployment plans are now being pursued.  The outputs of the meeting where recorded for inclusion in the FAST Project Business Plan and our  future commercialisation / sustainability efforts.

Copies of the presentations are held in our Publications Repository here.
